? | N/A | N/A | Origin | An "Iyrin" would circle the origin. It was not named at the time, and the only humans to witness it would be ancient civilisations, who would write about the event extensively. | Earth |
? | N/A | N/A | Origin | "Angel"s would now roam the earth, as they became mystified creatures, seemingly being able to take a wild range of forms. At least one would be kept as a special pet of an ancient Monarch. | Earth |
0 | N/A | N/A | Origin | Edard Fromoncard created his "Book of Fromoncard", claiming a better life would be found in the search of absolute power, "Iyrin". He would draw heavily from stories of both the Iyrin encounter, and the angels. | Fromoncard, Earth |
Early 500s | N/A | N/A | Origin | The term "Elan Vital" is coined by a Fromoncard scientist. While Fromoncard as an ideology was only a small group of accelerationists at this time, their positions in prestigeous univesities across the the territories of the Nikosians allowed them to have access to huge resources. The ideology believed in the Manifesto heavily, and searched for the absolute power of Iyrin in this new field of science. The science mainly started with research into the Angels. As Edard Fromoncard called them Angels, this term would stick. | Fromoncard, Earth |
630s | N/A | N/A | Origin | A Monit-Fromoncard scientist coined the term Ruhology as the science field for the research of souls in the first "Ruhology Convention", which would later become the IETA. With the creation of the convention, the field was standardised, and many more terms such as the theorised "Esther Cell" was coined. | Fromoncard, Earth |
Late 580s-726 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The Great War, lasting nearly 75 years, saw great leaps in human ingeniuty, mostly directed towards other humans, in unfortunate ways. Ruhology saw a surge in popularity at the earlier parts of the war, where many great forces believed it to be the final frontier. The field would not yield any results that could be used at war, however, and the real final frontier would turn out to be the wrong end of a thermonuclear weapon. Ruhology would lose steam by the 920s rolled around. The war would end not with a one-way use of nuclear weaponry, but a standoff. As the sides developed their weapons at too close rates, neither side was sure of the effectiveness of the other side. This would cause a gridlock in the war, causing a frozen conflict. By 956, the war had turned into a series of small skirmishes. Peace would never be signed. The Great War was fought between two large blocks named "Nikosian Pact" and the "Rik Vashkna Orushenitur", or "The God's Armies" |
|
710-752 | N/A | N/A | Origin | This 40 year period would see an increased interest in space technology, as a rushed arms race. As nuclear weapons developed, nearly all resources of all militaries were poured into conquering of space. No treaties forcing demilitarisation of space would be signed.
733 | N/A | N/A | Origin | First plans of a theoretical NETT gate would be drawn up by Fromoncard scientists.
738 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The first of "Iyrin" would be spotted through observatories. It would be named after Fromoncard's manifesto. It was theorised to be the same creature from his stories, though never proven.
743 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The first space-to-space kill recorded. This was due to an incident where an NP Spaceship came too close to the RVO due to a power failure, and did not respond to their communications. RVO ship would destroy the NP ship, nearly causing a nuclear war.
745 | N/A | N/A | Origin | With the further analysis of the Iyrin spotted in 958, the following decade would see a surge in popularity for Ruhology, as the Ruhologist Fromoncards claimed the task of researching this phenomena. An overreaching private institution would be created to create collaboration between Nikosian nations of Origin to further capitalise on Ruhology. Therefore, the 'International Esther-Technology Administration', or more commonly known as the "Esther Institute" was established. This organisation would eventually usurp many other agencies under its wing, such as
746 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The Rhuse Government would create their own competitor to the IETA, named "Vashkna Ukapre Organzasyonur" (Literal translation; "God Research Organisation")
748 | N/A | N/A | Origin | IETA would succeed in the creation of the first working Esther Cell. While big, bulky and creating a lot of waste heat, it was a better alternative to the propulsion methods of the time. Due to its fragile state, it would have to be activated and assembled in the orbit, and only be used in orbit. The Intelligence Commuity of RVO would not take long to steal this design.
752 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The first NETT gate would be operational, with the first successful jump between LOO to Lunar Orbit. Within the same year, the first blind jump would be conducted, which resulted in a catastrophic failure. The ship would be jumped into the middle of space about 3 lightyears away from origin. Both were done by IETA, though it would only take 3 months for RVO to get a working NETT gate as well. The first successful blind jump would be conducted by RVO to the fifth planet of the origin system.
7522-757 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The colony rush would begin. Both IETA and RVO's United Space Program would put their maximum effort into creation of colonies.
757 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The first non-solar planet would be stepped foot on by Humans with the help of a series of blind jumps. A permanent link would take 3 years to establish at 980.
757-772 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The aggressive colonisation would begin by both NP and RVO.
759 | N/A | N/A | Origin | The RVO collective colony called "Ukyalta" would be established.
764 | N/A | N/A | Origin | RVO ship falls to Desera.
772 | N/A | 0 | Origin | Earth fucking explodes. | Earth |
